Some of history’s most fascinating stories belong to the people who came before us — and the places where they rest.
A Lower Makefield Historical Society program will explore the historic graveyards of central New Jersey and the remarkable people buried there on Nov. 1.
A seasoned paranormal investigator, Caggiano has always been interested in things that go bump in the night at historic sites in New Jersey. In this presentation, he explores a historic military base, several houses with Revolutionary War notoriety, a creepy cemetery and a Victorian mansion. And what would a Halloween-themed talk be without a visit from the Jersey Devil? History and myth intertwine in this spooky program.
Caggiano is an award-winning historian and author with two books on paranormal experiences at historic sites, most recently 'Legends and Hauntings of the Jersey Bayshore.' He also hosts the New Jersey history online video series 'Ghosts on the Coast,' which receives millions of views per month on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. He previously spoke to the Lower Makefield Historical Society on Jersey Shore Prohibition History.
