Heller seafood has been a family run business since 1978. Joining the team in 1993, current owner John Reinheimer had watched, learned and been a part of shaping the business for over 30 years. Almost three years ago, he sat down with his now future wife and decided to buy the business from the previous owner.
Together as a family they have five wonderful children who have all played a role in helping to make this venture a success, whether working the counter, cooking in the kitchen, helping with the office paperwork and even waking up at 3:30 am to go to the fish market with their dad. John’s fiancé has been his biggest supporter in making this dream come true.
John sees many possibilities when he looks ahead at the future of this family venture including additional locations, expanded menu options, the ability to supply more local restaurants and small retailers with a high-quality product that is sure to satisfy their most discerning customers.
